Recently my neighborhood has seen a lot of new construction, and we are thrilled for the new neighbors and lots more kids on the block. Last night at Sawyer's back to school night one of the new moms approached me "Omigoodness, everyone at this school knows you! They all say how sweet and bubbly you are....long pause...and that you are always dressed up" LOL! And to think I made a conscious effort to "just wear jeans" last night to better blend with the crowd.
I was in love with the pretty detail on the Pocketed Peasant Blouse the moment I saw it on Anthropologie's website, but knew I had to hold out for a sale. Later, I saw a sales associate wearing it at the store, and she look adorable, but I didn't have time to try it on for myself. I was a bit nervous from all the reviews saying that it was nearly impossible to get your head through the opening of this top, but I am happy to report that I was successful.

Tomorrow night I have Back to School Night for Harrison, I think I will embrace my reputation and wear a skirt ;)

I love this top on you - and that you paired it with green shoes and flared jeans, boheme chic!
I'm afraid to get this blouse because of the neck hole issue - I'd probably get my big noggin caught up somewhere, haha!
I love your top, it is so fun and unique! And totally rock your skirt :)
They were definitely right. You are sweet and bubbly and of course, from what you post, always beautifully dressed! I wanted to get the Pocketed Peasant Blouse and I still may...hopefully. Is the hole for the head small or something? I got the Descending Peplum, Sea Drift Tank and also the River School skirt the last sale. What did you buy? Going to Charlotte this weekend. Yay! Hope the "big thing" happening Saturday is worth it! Where's Campbell?
Oh mah gawd. I am in love with this blouse! Love. Love. Wondering if I can find it somewhere.... I don't even want to know what my neighbors say about me... Disheveled, in need of a haircut, always wearing her baby and walking a dog,...
Yes - let's embrace an outfit that is all you. :) That is such a sweet comment. Sounds like you have a bit of a local following. :)
This top is gorgeous on you and your pull it off remarkably well - it's so you!

What are your tricks for always looking good? Especially with a baby? Clothing? Make up? Hair? I find it hard to get in a shower every day (I know that sounds gross!).
Ha! I was so glad to read this review of this top because i for one was in the "can't get my head through it" camp. Phew. I was feeling bad about my head there for a few days. What a tremendous compliment! I love it, and it's quite true. I might volunteer in the PTA more if I could see women dressed like you. It's just a sad display around the school....crocs are not real shoes, ladies!!
Hi Jan. I hadn't been at your page for a while but I see one fabulous outfit after another. Love this top with the Kelly Green Peep-toes. Gorgeous bracelet, too. But where has Sawyer been?
I did read your comments you left me. Sorry about the Word Verification. Google does it automatically, I don't even have them activated. But please try again. And I would appreciate you following me.
Hugs to you and your baby girl. <3 Ada.
