There is a lot of volume on the Petticoat Cardigan. A lot. Since adding bulk isn't something I'm concerned with at the present time, I'm looking at the positive aspects of this sweater - the gorgoeus color, the darling ruffles and it's perfect weight for when I don't require a jacket.
This weekend is pretty low key for us - we tackled some errands in the morning (I finally picked out tile for our kitchen backsplash - yay!) and tomorrow after church I'm taking my oldest to a birthday party. I still haven't decided for sure about wearing the Annona dress with tights, but all the reassuring comments make me think I should give it a go... Especially since our 10 day forcast doesn't really show any hope for bare legs...

The petticoat cardigan looks great on you! I had been lusting over it for months (including its earlier incarnation), so I jumped immediately when it went on sale . . . and when it got here, I learned that it looks like poo on me. Sad. But on you it's fantastic. Happy!

I got the cardigan in grey and love even with the ruffles. I thought the ruffles would overwhelm my petite frame, but it didn't. I did, however, have to wear a belt to bring down the waist a bit because it was too high.

Oh, that cardigan looks really wonderful on you, Jan! This whole outfit is just amazing. And I bet it'll work through most if not all of your pregnancy too (though you might have to leave it unbuttoned towards the end). I tried this one on in the store, and was disappointed by how thick it made me feel. Volume is right. Oh well. At least I get to enjoy it on you. ^_^
